Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Penny and the Artarmon team at Roof Rack and Tow Bar. Their service was amazing, explanations and care went above and beyond to get me a niche product that a number of other vendors did not have stock/did not have the expertise on at such short notice.I really appreciated all their expertise and would recommend Roof Rack and Towbar World to anyone interesting in trailers, hitches and roof racks.

“Absolutely unreal” is the phrase that describes this place. I was on the look out for a towbar and a roof box for my car and having utterly confused myself with internet research, I finally picked up the phone with RoofRack and Towbar World at Artarmon. I was attended by a wonderful lady who answered all my questions and knew exactly what my pain points were. Myriam was so thorough on her subject and got me exactly what I was looking for. She emailed me all the options and helped make the pick. On the fitment day, things worked like clockwork. All fixed and done just as promised. Two days later I realised the roof box was oversized and created mobility issues for my car in garages. I called the centre, I drove in, I explained to Paul - the manager. And that was it. No dramas and they promptly took the roof box back. No extra charges no hassles. Now I know while I returned the box, I will certainly be back here to hire the box during Christmas. This place is absolutely unreal. Very thorough, very clear, very professional, delivered on promises and went far beyond in understanding and addressing my pain points. Absolutely love this place and people like Myriam and Paul that make this place the best !

Absolutely brilliant customer service. The guys went above and beyond to fit my roof box EXACTLY as I wanted it, they modified my roof racks and shaved a few mm’s off the attachment arms in order for it to fit, function and look perfect. There was no extra charge and all the work was done quickly and professionally. It’s rare to see such incredible attention to detail and understanding of the customer’s needs. Thanks guys.

Excellent service. Picked up some parts and was also after a spare part from a discontinued line. Staff were very attentive and searched the back for the obsolete stock and in the end found the part I needed and gave it free of charge. Will definitely return

Artarmon Roof Rack World saved my holiday. My own car was stuck in the service centre. I needed to fit my roof pod to a loaner car in order to be able to go in vacation. Roof Rack World went above and beyond the call of duty and leant me the parts necessary to attach my rook racks and pod to the loaner car. They did this on the spot, late one arvo' just before I needed to leave. Roof Rack World Artarmon saved my holiday. Outstanding customer service.

Got rts554 tracks installed on my roof. They did it very quickly on the day and I was happy leaving. But on closer inspection they'd also scratched up my roof in the process. Pretty disappointing, and I now wonder if they did everything else right too. The job requires drilling and some attention to detail to prevent rust forming. I guess I'll have to wait and see what I paid for.Edit: Paul the owner was very kind to reach out to me and offer options to remedy my situation. He genuinely has my best interests in mind and is willing to do what it takes to make things right.

What a great professional business! They were super helpful and attentive, and even though they were so busy they made me feel calm and well looked after. They fixed my broken luggage pod clamp, found other cracks, repaired those and gave me spare keys to replace my bent old ones. I had to ask them to repeat the cost when they told me as I had mentally prepared for alot more. I can not recommend these guys enough!!.

What an amazing place, we had a problem with a missing part for our Rhino roof rack bought through Hyundai and the service and professionalism was incredible. A bit tricky to find, you need to go up the ramp by Prestige. So worth it. Staff are amazing especially Sam! Highly recommend this place. Best roof racks and service in Sydney. I will return.

Fantastic service and even better deal!I purchased a roof rack and bike carrier, and I got them installed in a blink of an eye. Saadat explained me how to mount and dismount the bike carrier to protect my gear and investment. Dave was super friendly and went above and beyond to offer me a great service. Ordered some roof racks. Booked a time-slot for install. Arrived on time. Place was VERY busy.Stood around for a long time without any service. Everyone busy. After a few attempts of "checking in", it became apparent that there was no way they were going to be able to do the install in a reasonable time-frame based on what I was seeing and how long it was taking just to get some acknowledgement from them.Asked for a refund on my deposit. They obliged.I was informed that they were "very busy" and "trying to keep everyone happy" and whilst that's very noble, my recommendation to them is to try and prioritise customers who have booked a time-slot OR don't take bookings in the first place if there's no guarantee of being able to fulfill them.I'm a twice previous customer from their former location and was previously very happy with the service I received. But not anymore.Sincerely wish them the best though.

Called with a pig of a job (install a 2nd hand canopy after I butchered the task, need COB). Despite flatout beyond belief, fitted it in and stayed after hours to get it done. Couple of small growing pains like any fast expanding small business but would do again and proudly recommend accordingly - thanks team!

Amazing customer service, super friendly staff and absolutely worth driving a little further than my local shops. I had a second hand pair of roof racks and they managed to make them fit without cost and only taking 10mins! Would recommend to anyone to take the time and go to these guys, always doing right by the customer and helping out as much as possible!

Dan, David and all the guys are absolute professionals! Don't even bother calling anywhere else. Make this your first call! They know exactly what they are doing, They are professional, very reasonably priced and are true to their quotes and word. Every single person who works there is extremely helpful and friendly. We had a tough job that no one else could work out how to do. These guys booked me in the day after I contacted them and finished the job perfectly. Nothing was a problem. Great dealing with these guys. Fitted out my Prado and Hilux and while they are usually always busy they do take their time and make sure you get what you need for your vehicle. I bought a set of Racks for the Hilux and installed myself but wasn’t happy with the fit and called back. They told me to bring it in and ended up swapping them out for what I should have bought initially and installing on the spot whilst I had a coffee down the street. They really looked after me in terms of price and fitting without an appointment which was crucial as we were going on family vacation that afternoon. They’re also open on holidays which makes sense and can even rent you racks or roof pods if you don’t want to spend big for one off trips. Highly recommended.

The staff are extremely helpful at Roof rack and Towbar world. I bought my own second hand roof bars and fitting kit and struggled to assemble myself. The guys down there advised that if i brought the car and bits down they would fit it on within half an hour. The best thing about it, they only charged me $30 for fitting. Amazing value and fantastic service.

I needed a bike carrier for a 4x4 with a tyre on the back that would also fit a tow ball. The folks here went above and beyond by replacing the existing towball (no charge), and fit the bike rack to my car on the spot. They even made a temporary numberplate for me as mine was obscured. They are deserving of their stellar reputation online.

A few days ago we bought a 4x4 and wanted to complete it with a rooftop tent. We went to Roofreck + Towbar, which our auto dealer recommended. However our car needed special bars, which our dealer didn’t tell us about. But these guys here were so helpfull and friendly. They searched the cheapest and best way for us and made a beautiful tent out of it! They stayed so positive during the whole process, thanks for cheering us up and for the amazing tent! I have a 2017 Outback and was really unhappy with the stock roof rack for carrying my surfskis. After speaking with many people I had just about given up on having a good quality rack. Then I happened upon these guys in Artarmon. They did up a custom rack that I am really happy with. The experience was very positive as their sales process is a consultative solution process, not just selling hardware. We explored a few possibilities together, then came up with a very strong and simple rack. They really know their stuff. The pricing was very fair as well.Update on the review for another interaction with these guys. I had a need for a nudge bar mounted, quick release, single post rack on the front of my Subaru. I also wanted to have a Rhino rack mounting bar on top of the post so I could put a kayak carrier to carry a 7.8m long surfski. After a few discussions on the phone, the guys at Manufactured Alloy Xtras in conjunction with Paul at Artarmon Roof Rack World came up with a brilliant solution for me. The service was quick and efficient. The product is top quality. The price was fair. The post sales support for a couple of questions I had was excellent. I couldn't be happier.

Awesome, down to earth guys who are helpful and understanding of the customers needs. I got my roof racks and bike rack fixed in my SUV and then went back to get it changed to my small car for ease of use.
